The purpose of the essay includes persuading the reader to choose your side or point-of-view of the topic. Facts, values and other research data will help you prove your side or thesis. - Support your argument with facts. Give a clear perspective with relevant values for your audience to understand. Facts and details should be prioritized or put in a certain order to help readers stay on point. State a clear conclusion that helps persuade the audience in your favor.
- Review strategies that will help you get your writing assignment started. This can include coming up with questions during your research that your essay paper may try to answer. Determine facts you may use, how reliable they are, and what prejudices they present.
- Once you have collected enough data, create a rough draft. You don’t have to focus on having good grammar and spelling.
